Senior's Wellness Program Selected by Ministry of Health Registry
Woodbridge, ON, March 2, 2009: “Integrating Communities; Wellness and Prevention Program” funded by Central LHIN and United Way of York Region has been selected in Health Care Improvement Practices Registry, maintained by Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
In April 2008, Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care also selected this program for Innovations in Aging At Home showcase that toook place at the Toronto Covnention Centre.
Noor Din, Executive Director of Human Endeavour said "we are proud that a grassroot program was selected by the Ministry due to its innovative contents and services"
What is the purpose of the Health Care Improvement Practices Registry?
The Health Care Improvement Practices Registry is designed to foster a culture of continuous quality improvement in Ontario’s health care system by leveraging the collective experiences of providers and administrators and spreading these practices so that others can benefit from this shared learning.
