Launched in 2006, our family and community-centric approach through Multi-Community Building Program (MCBP) connects socially isolated residents with the wider community through culturally and linguistically appropriate and diverse services to low/moderate income families to address various barriers.

MCBP offers a variety of programs for all age groups that include pre-school readiness, parenting, arts, peer support, intergenerational activities, health, wellness, and settlement programs.

MCBP also addresses the needs of refugees and newcomers and offers the above-mentioned services to them.

Through the project, we also arrange civic engagement events to promote cross-cultural understanding and the successful inclusion of communities.

MCBP program is funded by the Regional Municipality of York.
