Human Endeavour has been helping refugees and newcomers belonging from diverse backgrounds since 2006 in their settlement, social and economic inclusion through skill development, training, hands-on experience and assistance in seeking jobs, establishing small home-based businesses and guiding to the appropriate resources and services.
We have extensively worked with the South Asian, Syrian/Yazidi and more recently with Afghan/Hazara communities partially through funding and support from provincial grants and the Regional Municipality of York. Human Endeavour also helps clients referred to us through York Region, York Region District School Board. and other settlement agencies.
Human Endeavour provides critical need items to low-income and newcomer families and refugees including jackets, shoes, and household items and helps acquire low-cost furniture and mattresses for the needy. We regularly receive generous donations of furniture and other necessary items in addition to monetary donations from community members .
We have established strong partnerships with local stores and businesses. IKEA Vaughan provides donations of furniture, bedding, pillows, curtains and other household items while many others provide items on discount.

Human Endeavour provides culturally and linguistically appropriate, diverse community building services to low/ moderate income families to address barriers and promote social inclusion. Human Endeavour believes that elements of social inclusion help promote the practice of good citizenship among communities and improves self-worth among marginalized groups, particularly refugees and newcomers.
For broader impact, Human Endeavour runs regular social media campaigns and YouTube videos to raise awareness about the needs and contributions of newcomers in Canada. We also arrange civic engagement events to promote cross-cultural understanding and the successful inclusion of communities
